A clean home is not an option. It is a must for healthy living because of so much pollution around. Cleaning should not be occasional but it should be a routine affair with daily manual and vacuum cleaning. Doing home cleaning regularly rids the home of tough stains. Home cleaning consists of floor cleaning, kitchen cleaning, upholstery cleaning etc. which can be done with products made specifically for it or with homemade solutions also like baking soda, vinegar, lemon juice etc.

The first place which is noticed while entering a home is floor. So, it should be clean, hygienic and attractive. Because pets roam on them and it is the playground for kids, dirty floor can be dangerous and even hazardous. A carpet covered floor is all the more unhealthy as dirt and other particles are caught in it which is difficult to remove. It becomes the perfect place for dust mites and mold spores. But there are various methods to keep carpets clean, shiny and hygienic like brooming, shaking, using detergents, carpet shampooing, and vacuum cleaning.

Only detergents made specifically for carpets should be used which clean them and are soft on carpets as well.
